Jane Hawksley (Writer)

Jane Hawksley has adapted numerous novels for the screen including André Brink’s An Instant in the Wind, Elizabeth Bowen’s A World of Love, and Jonathan Coe’s The House of Sleep, in addition to writing original screenplays both in English and in French. Also to be released in 2008 is Whatever Lola Wants, cowritten with Nabil Ayouch and Nathalie Saugeon for Pathé Renn Productions. Hawksley is currently adapting Japanese author Haruki Murakami’s South of the Border, West of the Sun for co-producers Ruby Films and Xingu Films.
