Steven Jones-Evans (Production Designer)

Steven Jones Evans is one of Australia’s most talented designers in film, television and interiors. His film credits include Ned Kelly for which he was honored with an Australian Film Institute (AFI) for Best Production Design. He also received AFI nominations for the Australian features; Siam Sunset, Romper Stomper, Australian Rules and Metal Skin.

In 1999 he first worked with the Australian director Gregor Jordan designing Two Hands. They later re-teamed on the American/German production of Buffalo Soldiers starring Joaquin Phoenix then later collaborated on Ned Kelly.

His other films credits include; True Love and Chaos, Cut, Paws, Walk The Talk and Oyster Farmer. For television he has designed the popular Australian series Wildside, and Naked.
